YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting Feed Mill Operator opportunity at our Guymon, Oklahoma, facility. In this important role, you will be a key member of the Live Operations team, supporting feed production processes including receiving, grinding, batching, pelleting, and loadout. You will help ensure safe, efficient operations while maintaining compliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Learn the material process flow of entire feed mill to include receiving, grinding, batching, pelleting, and loadout.
  • Crosstrain in all areas of production/maintenance at the feed mill and be proficient in all areas of plant automation.
  • Manage and plan production needs for each area of operation.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of all areas of the feed mill and the grounds adjacent to the plant.
  • Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with all Current Good Manufacturing Practices' (cGMP) and FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) protocols.
  • Process necessary paperwork and learn to account for items using computer skills as needed and follow procedures established to ensure proper material flow.
  • Understand and follow safety rules consistent with standard operating procedures.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Required:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; or 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and write reports and business correspondence, ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, and visitors.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to make decisions on routine matters utilizing company policies, procedures and directions from upper management.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, not required.



WORK ENVIRONMENT:




  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility.
  • The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment depends on which environment you are in
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
