What You'll Do Drive and maneuver yard goats & trailers from dock to dock, switching out empty trailers with full trailers to keep production moving. Perform pre- and post-trips daily. Chock rear wheels and be aware of safety hazards in all weather conditions. Check trailers before pulling away from the dock doors. Interact and take direction from dispatchers or warehouse managers consistently through radio and on-board computer system. Driving Requirements 22+ years of age Valid license Clear MVR 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years) No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years) Must be safety-minded Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, moving approximately 80+ moves per shift, with a VERY tight yard The ability to blindside back Strong communication skills Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan and more Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Holiday Pay is provided for eligible Drivers Weekly Pay Staffmark Perkspot - discounts on almost anything you want to buy The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
