Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Finance Consultant to support cash planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis within a fast-paced finance organization. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining cash forecasting models, supporting treasury and financial planning activities, performing variance analysis, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling skills, advanced Excel expertise, and experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).

Job Responsibilities



  • Support cash planning activities, including long-range planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and ad hoc financial analyses.
  • Prepare and maintain company cash forecasting models.
  • Develop and maintain rolling 13-week cash flow forecasts, including actual-to-forecast reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Partner with Accounting and Treasury teams to monitor and report weekly cash flow activity.
  • Collaborate with business units to collect financial forecasts, actual results, and supporting explanations.
  • Maintain financial planning models for multiple revenue streams and business operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline financial planning processes.
  • Assist in managing financial risks and opportunities to support cash flow and profitability objectives.
  • Prepare financial reports, presentations, and ad hoc analyses for leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and cross-functional business teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning, finance, accounting, treasury, or a related finance environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and complex data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint preferred.
  • Experience with Hyperion and Essbase preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Entertainment or media industry experience is preferred but not required.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning, FP&A, accounting, treasury, or related finance functions.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash planning, and financial analysis required.
  • Entertainment or media industry experience preferred.
