DC Office - Government Contracts Mid-level Associate

Winston Taylor is looking for a mid-level government contracts associate to join its Government Contracts Team in its Washington, DC office. Ideal candidates should have 3 -5 years' experience at either a large or mid-sized national firm, working primarily in the government contracts group, or alternatively working at a government contracts boutique firm or in the government working on government contracts matters. Substantive experience must include bid protests, familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and its supplements, and experience counseling clients on FAR and other regulatory requirements. Candidates should have experience counseling clients on federal grant compliance and related requirements.

Preferred experience: federal court litigation and other government contracts litigation and investigations, such as: CDA claims, FCA/whistleblower claims, prime-subcontractor disputes, drafting and/or negotiating government contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, joint venture agreements, and performing due diligence on government contracts M&A transactions. Must be barred in the District of Columbia or eligible to waive in upon start date.
