Job Summary:
The Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin- Madison seeks a lecturer to teach the following course for the Fall 2026 semester: Psychology 202 - "Introduction to Psychology" (3 credits), including its development, motivation, frustrations, emotion, intelligence, learning, forgetting, personality, language, thinking, and social behavior. Prepare and present lectures. Prepare, administer and grade exams. Hold office hours. Supervise one teaching assistant. This is a 33.4% appointment which will run from August 17 - December 30, 2026. This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding. Key Job Responsibilities:
College of Letters & Science, Department of Psychology Compensation:The starting annual base salary for this 33.4% FTE fall position is $50,000. Actual compensation will be calculated based on candidates qualifications and experience and prorated based on the contract length and FTE. Required Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Psychology or relevant area required. Demonstrated expertise in area of specialization required.
