Lincoln Hospital is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic Wellness & Rehabilitation Department, where nutrition care is fully integrated into a multidisciplinary approach to patient wellness and recovery. What You'll Do As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide comprehensive nutrition services across a broad spectrum of patient populations and clinical conditions. Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized nutrition care plans Providing inpatient nutrition consultations and interventions Delivering outpatient medical nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling Educating patients and families on disease management, healthy lifestyle practices, and therapeutic diets Collaborating with physicians, nurses, therapists, diabetes educators, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record Participating in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives What Makes This Opportunity Special At Lincoln Hospital, nutrition services are embedded within the Wellness & Rehabilitation Department, creating opportunities for rich interdisciplinary collaboration that extend beyond traditional dietitian roles. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutritional Sciences from an accredited college or university required. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Dietitian required. Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required. Positions in Home Care will require a valid Driver's License to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Experience: Two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) conducting nutritional assessments and developing treatment plans for acute care inpatients and/or outpatients preferred.
