The approved salary range for this job title code is $117,000 - $145,800, The salary range the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $117,000 - $135,000/yr. Reporting to the Deputy CIO, the IT Business Manager leads a team of financial and administrative professionals that support general business operations for the Office of Information Technology. This role is broadly responsible for the divisional budget, projecting and tracking expenses to provide accurate financial reporting on a regular basis. The IT Business Manager also oversees procurement, reconciliation, invoicing, cost transfers, expense approvals, and other accounting processes associated with divisional operations; directs software vendor management, licensing, and cost-sharing processes; and coordinates with UC Merced partners to ensure compliant, timely outcomes aligned to divisional priorities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned communicator who can effectively distill complex financial information to inform divisional decision-making and a service-minded people-manager who values process and efficiency.
