MHCardiology, Scarborough Campusis an outpatient facilityseeking an inspired Cardiac Sonographer to successfullyaccomplishtransthoracic echos and stress echos with exceptional patient care and an attentive disposition.In addition to the various cardiac pathologies seen with transthoracic echo and stress echo, our echo lab supports many of our subspecialty cardiology teams such as:

• ValveClinic

• Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy andCamzyosClinic

• Complex Dyspnea and Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic

• Adult Congenital Clinic

• Sports Cardiology

The Echo Department encourages growth through knowledge and learning and supports continued medical education.

Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer II performs moderate complexity exams and procedures, requiring independent judgement and the ability to recognize abnormal findings.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education:Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
   
2. License/Certifications:ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
   
3. Experience:Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.
   
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required:Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.

The pay range for this position is $40.06to $54.20 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
