What You'll Do:
  • Build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic and electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
  • Support engineering activities including design verification, prototype assembly, calibration, testing, fabrication, and system modifications.
  • Construct, adjust, calibrate, diagnose, and maintain specialized equipment, tools, and test systems.
  • Conduct experiments, collect data, document results, and support engineering investigations.
  • Build tooling, fixtures, and hardware required to support unique engineering and laboratory projects.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements and corrective actions.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic and test equipment to evaluate system and component performance.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 1+ years of experience supporting electronics, electro-mechanical systems, engineering laboratories, manufacturing operations, or related technical environments.
  • 1+ years of experience troubleshooting, testing, repairing, calibrating, or modifying electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing diagnostic tools, test equipment, multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, or similar instrumentation.
  • 1+ years of experience reading engineering drawings, schematics, technical documentation, or assembly instructions.
  • Associate's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Fundamental knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, laboratory equipment, and technical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Military electronics, avionics, communications, or technical maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting to the component level.
  • Experience fabricating simple hardware, fixtures, and test tools.
  • FCC First Class License.
  • Solder Repair Certification.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Interest in leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve technical processes and efficiency.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Overtime: May be required based on project schedules and testing requirements.
  • Lifting Requirements: Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements associated with laboratory and engineering support activities.
  • Work Environment: Engineering laboratory and prototype development environment.
