About the Opportunity Are you ready to drive significant technical transformation and lead the charge in modernizing core technology infrastructure? This is a visionary leadership opportunity to spearhead initiatives at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and complex financial domains. You will lead teams in developing AI-focused workflows across the System Development Life Cycle, building intelligent systems that directly impact millions. This role empowers you to make a profound impact on your career and the future of financial services, shaping the next generation of intelligent systems. What You'll Do
- Lead the design and execution of large-scale software development programs, acting as a key architect or people leader, guiding impactful projects from conception to delivery.
- Drive critical digital transformation initiatives, guiding software development teams and collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
- Champion the integration and effective use of advanced AI coding assistants within engineering workflows, encompassing implementation, refactoring, unit testing, regression support, code reviews, scripting/automation, troubleshooting, and comprehensive documentation.
- Apply astute engineering judgment and rigorous validation to ensure the highest quality and correctness of AI-generated code, maintaining system integrity and performance.
- Establish and propagate team-level best practices for effective AI-assisted development, including agentic workflows, spec-driven development (translating low-level design artifacts into structured specifications that guide AI-assisted implementation), custom instructions, and advanced prompt engineering.
- Strategically apply advanced AI techniques to significantly reduce context switching and accelerate delivery across typical development workflows, enhancing team efficiency and project velocity.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in designing and leading large software development programs as an Architect or people leader.
- Proven experience in digital transformation projects, including leading software development teams and collaborating with Product owners and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical working solutions.
- Demonstrated exposure to, or hands-on experience with, advanced AI coding assistants used across day-to-day engineering workflows in the SDLC-including implementation, refactoring, unit testing, regression support, code reviews, scripting/automation, troubleshooting, and documentation-while consistently applying engineering judgment and validation. Practical familiarity with tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is expected.
- A track record of using AI assistance for common development tasks (code suggestions, test generation, review support, automation scripts, troubleshooting) with clear ownership for correctness and quality.
- Experience applying advanced AI in ways that reduce context switching and accelerate delivery across typical workflows (not limited to writing new code).
- Practical familiarity with GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code within IDE/CLI-style workflows.
- Working knowledge of agentic workflows, spec-driven development (translating low-level design artifacts such as class structures, API contracts, and data models into structured specs that guide AI-assisted implementation), and custom instructions and prompt engineering, with the ability to establish team-level practices for effective AI-assisted development.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
