We are looking for a creative and meticulous designer to join the Marketing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of key communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engagement across a variety of materials. You'll bring important information to life through compelling design, directly contributing to the organization's outreach and educational goals. Opportunity Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately half days
- Hours: 15-20 hours per week
- Contract: Through the end of the year
- Start Date: As early as next week
What You'll Do
- Support the Marketing team with ongoing design and production projects, contributing to critical communication initiatives.
- Design and update multipage documents, ensuring impeccable consistency, accuracy, and strong visual presentation that upholds brand standards.
- Collaborate seamlessly with project and copyediting teams to implement content and layout updates, bringing concepts to fruition.
- Work within established templates and style systems to guarantee brand consistency across all visual assets.
- Prepare files meticulously for review and production, maintaining organized and accurate layouts for efficient workflows.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced marketing environment.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions, ensuring design solutions meet strategic objectives.
What You'll Bring Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe InCopy, particularly within multipage document workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, including extensive experience working with templates and style sheets.
- A strong understanding of both print and digital design principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with copywriters, editors, project teams, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within established deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a structured marketing or communications environment.
