Aquent Talent is thrilled to partner with a world-renowned global beauty company, a leader in innovation and market trends, to find a visionary professional. This is an unparalleled opportunity to significantly shape the future of digital commerce, driving groundbreaking strategies that will define how consumers discover and engage with beloved brands in an evolving AI-driven landscape. You will be at the forefront of transforming traditional search into a new era of generative discovery, directly impacting brand visibility and consumer interaction across a channel-less ecosystem.

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to lead the strategic evolution from traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to cutting-edge Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in enabling "Agentic Commerce," ensuring that our client's diverse portfolio of brands becomes the preferred choice for AI agents and Large Language Models (LLMs) through meticulously structured data. You will work within a high-performing team, leveraging proprietary measurement tools and establishing best practices as a Content Center of Excellence. This is your chance to make a profound impact, guiding a leading beauty enterprise through its digital transformation and setting new industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the strategic roadmap to pivot brands from traditional search discovery to dominance within Generative AI engines, such as ChatGPT and Gemini.
  • Develop the framework for "Agentic Commerce," architecting the digital ecosystem to facilitate seamless, brand-aligned conversations with LLM partners.
  • Lead strategic projects focused on sharing high-quality structured data with LLMs, ensuring technical precision in how product information is ingested, understood, and recommended by AI.
  • Champion AI Prompting best practices within the team to rigorously test, validate, and optimize brand visibility and conversational accuracy.
  • Own the end-to-end management and brand-level rollout of GEO measurement and new tracking tools.
  • Establish and operationalize the "GEO Accelerator Flywheel," a continuous process for gathering data-driven insights and sharing them across business units to drive rapid content updates.
  • Manage and develop a specialized team responsible for creating best-in-class playbooks that standardize GEO optimization across various business divisions.
  • Lead the community of internal stakeholders, acting as a strategic facilitator to simplify complex technology shifts into actionable brand growth strategies.
  • Onboard and manage relationships with cutting-edge technology vendors to maintain a competitive advantage in AI and GEO.
  • Develop strong relationships with global counterparts to share the company's "SEO to GEO" journey, cascade best practices, and contribute to the digital transformation roadmap.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the digital space, with a proven track record in SEO, Digital Shelf technology, and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) strategy.
  • Highly adaptable and technologically curious, with the ability to learn, test, and master new platforms and AI tools at the speed of the market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical roadmaps to executive leadership and influence cross-functional partners.
  • Hands-on experience with AI Prompting and a technical understanding of LLM behavior and structured data requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage complex vendor relationships and lead a community of diverse internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a proactive "driver" mindset.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Proficiency in Digital Shelf Analytics and equivalent Product Information Management (PIM) / Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
  • Experience with traditional SEO tools (e.g., Conductor).
  • Knowledge of Schema.org, JSON-LD, and Knowledge Graphs.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Beauty industry experience is highly desired.
  • Deep understanding of emerging GEO measurement platforms.
