Immediately Hiring! Material Processor, Circleville, OH Pay Rate: $26.12 plus shift differential Shift: Rotation KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Under direct supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
- Responsible for breaking down incoming pallets and delivering materials to designated point-of-use cabinet locations.
- Scanning materials upon delivery to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Rotate stock following First In, First Out (FIFO) principles.
- Keep cabinets clean and always organized.
- Daily monitoring and replenishment of bulk MRO (Maintenance, Repair, & Operations) materials.
- Responsible for hazardous waste handling, following all applicable safety regulations and site protocols.
- May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
- Verify order accuracy and stage materials for order.
- Prepare pallets, apply labels.
- Load trucks safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
- May load/unload trucks; may use a Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks.
- Work will be in warehouse doing functions such as: receiving, storing, parting, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.
- Loads and unloads product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas and parting material.
- Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Filter and pump resins from drop tanks to hold tanks, batch tanks, or storage tanks
- Set up manifolds, lines, and valves to transfer products into:
- Tank trucks
- Tote tanks
- Drums
- Unload tank trucks into cell rooms or finishing area tanks.
- Take samples and make batch additions as directed by the supervisor.
- Collect samples from adjusted batches or stored products and deliver them to the Quality Control Laboratory.
- Label, fill, weigh, and transport drums.
- Palletize drums and place them in storage or stage them for shipment when required.
- Operate fork trucks, barrel jacks, and pallet jacks to:
- Remove drums from conveyors
- Transport drums
- Stack palletized drums in designated areas
- Operate a yard tractor to move and position tank wagons and other trailers as needed.
- Clean and maintain:
- Filter equipment
- Cuno filters
- Traps
- Strainers
- Other processing equipment
- Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in work areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- This position provides a development path to become a Production Operator through the gaining of knowledge, skills, and experience, along with successful participation in the company bidding process for future opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Must feel comfortable working in a chemical plant environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods
- Attention to detail and reliable work habits
- Basic computer or scanner skills
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
- Must be able to use and/or wear all required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to work any shift and work overtime, as necessary.
