Job Mission ASML's Wafer Alignment Sensor department in Wilton CT is seeking a Design Engineer to support and develop complex optical/photonic sensor systems used within ASML's photolithography tools. These systems typically include light sources, detectors, optical/electro-optical components, fiber optics, electronics and signal processing software functioning in close collaboration with the rest of the lithography system. As a design engineer, you will design, develop, build and integrate optical sensor systems. This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). As a condition of employment, qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology. Role and Responsibilities
Scope / Level of Impact JG07:Leads complex technical design work within a discipline or owns a module-level area requiring input from multiple engineers. Works autonomously on complex assignments and interfaces with suppliers or customers as part of a broader team. JG08:Leads development of complex parts of modules, owns technically complex solutions, considers industrialization and cross-team impact, and may guide a small group of peers through technical execution. JG09:Takes full technical ownership of multiple complex designs end-to-end, manages system impacts and cross-functional dependencies, and drives solutions through significant technical uncertainty. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
