Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. This worker acts as a junior-level material handling technician on all equipment installed at the (Ocala, FL) location. Shift Schedule is Thursday-Saturday 06:00 am-6:30 pm & every other Wed. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. We offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be$26 to $30 an hourat the time of posting. Final compensation will bedeterminedbyvarious factorssuch as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will DoInThis Role
  • Repair and maintenance ofMaterial Handling Equipment (MHE),including belt tracking,componentadjustment/replacement,componentlubrication, etc.

  • Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.

  • Create and close work orders intothe asset management system withappropriate data, includinglabor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.

  • Troubleshootfundamentalconveyance problems and understand the resources to resolve them.

  • Locate and track spare parts from inventory.

  • Respond to semi-complex service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.

  • Identifyproblems as they occur and takeappropriate stepsto solve them.

  • Develop andmaintainpositive working relationships across all levels of theorganization.

What We Are Looking For

  • HS diploma or equivalent required. Typically,vocational-technical training ispreferred.

  • Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.

  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

  • Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.

  • Have functional dexterity in both hands and wrists.

  • Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.

  • Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours,and wet or uneven surfaces.

  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.

  • Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours asrequired.
