Key Responsibilities
Inspection Quality & Arbitration Management
- Serve as the primary escalation point for inspection-related arbitration concerns.
- Review disputed inspection reports and provide guidance regarding condition report accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inspection discrepancies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of inspection standards to ensure fair and accurate resolutions.
- Complete inspections when operational needs require additional support.
- Identify trends contributing to arbitration claims and implement corrective actions.
Training & Development
- Train and onboard new vehicle inspectors.
- Conduct refresher training and recertification coaching for existing inspectors.
- Identify inspectors requiring additional coaching and development.
- Provide hands-on training related to inspection procedures, photography standards, and vehicle check-in processes.
- Mentor team members to improve inspection quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Support career development and skill growth within the inspection team.
Audit & Quality Assurance
- Conduct vehicle inspection audits approximately 5-10 hours per week.
- Review completed inspections for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
- Provide feedback and corrective coaching based on audit findings.
- Assist inspectors in achieving required audit completion goals and performance metrics.
- Monitor quality trends and recommend process improvements.
Operational Support
- Provide support across vehicle inspections, imaging, and vehicle check-in operations as business needs require.
- Assist with workload balancing during peak operational periods.
- Ensure inspection documentation and vehicle photos meet quality requirements.
- Serve as a resource for operational questions and issue resolution.
- Perform all other duties and projects assigned by management
- May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED and 7 years' experience in a related field.
- OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years' experience;
- OR 9 years' experience in a related field
- Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles.
- Ability to walk long distances.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb and sit for periods of time.
- Ability to lift 1-30 pounds.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Moderate noise level.
- Proficiency with inspection systems, condition reporting tools, and photography standards.
- Comfortable working in varying and inclement weather conditions.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7a - 3:30p
USD 20.10 - 30.10 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
