Working at the individual team level, an Asc Design Strategist responsibility is to work with teams using human-centered design principles, methods and technologies to deliver customer value. This role will work closely with a more senior Design Strategist alongside team members, product owners, agility and/or change practitioners to lead teams through full design activities at all aspects of design projects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, data science or related major.
  • Duke Energy internship or co-op experience.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated servant-leadership in nontraditional ways (coaching, volunteer work leadership, etc.)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
  • Strong initiative and self-organization in prior roles, school projects, volunteer work, internships, etc.

  • Duke Energy internship or co-op experience
  • Design thinking facilitation, user research activities & implementation, human-centered value-driven prioritization techniques
  • Proficient public speaking skills, written and verbal communication
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Openness, approachability, collaborative nature, and enjoyment working with passionate people
  • A learner mindset - naturally curious to learn more
  • Passionately proactive at problem-solving
  • Ability to meet an individual or team where they are and help them succeed
  • Professional judgment on when to ask for help
