The Senior Manager, Expediting position will oversee the purchasing, planning and scheduling of heavy equipment, generators, air handlers, massive material needs, inventory and status information; to expedite the safe and effective movement of materials, heavy equipment and parts between production areas by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and reads production schedules, planning, inventory reports, and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority
  • Confers with department supervisors to determine overdue material and parts and orchestrates effective communication to minimize equipment and material delays and inform supervisors of material status
  • Directs warehouse staff to expedite transfer of materials from stock area to production areas
  • Oversees and examines material received, verifies parts numbers, and checks discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts
  • Oversees work ticket specifications to material used at workstations to verify appropriate assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Working Experiences with a background in supply chain purchasing and expediting heavy LNG or cryogenic equipment and related materials
  • Must be excellent in clear and direct communication both written and verbally
  • Must be an 'outside the box' deep thinker, with the uncanny ability to make command decisions and accept the repercussions either favorable or unfavorable

Education:

  • Must have a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Global Supply Chain, and or Construction deliverables
  • Required:Experience as both a leader and mentor in Supply Chain Operations
