Position Responsibilities As a Senior Technical Consultant specializing in ERP Integrations and Customization, you lead our customers through the design, build, test and delivery of technical solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you translate business requirements into technical solutions, which provide business value to our customers.
You will take ownership of projects, leveraging reusable tools for efficient and automated delivery, while communicating confidently with customers and internal teams. Collaboration with a global network of Consultants, Project Managers and Developers is central to your role.
This customer-facing role requires a balance of technical depth, business acumen and consulting experience, underpinned by an AI-first mindset that drives innovative, efficient solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of ERP extensions and integrations for a range of customers including enterprise-level organizations.
- Trusted Advisor: serve as primary technical consultant to guide clients through the structured design and implementation of extensions and integrations, ensuring clarity, confidence, and compliance.
- Ownership: own Extensions & Integrations projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery with minimal supervision.
- Established Tools and Processes: leverage structured, reusable assets and tools for efficiency and automation.
- Communication: communicate with confidence with clients at all levels, including senior stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure alignment and project success.
- Requirements Gathering: Serve as the bridge between requirements and technical implementation by translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaboration: Partner effectively across a global team, including consultants, project managers, Deltek partners and subcontractors, and cloud operations. In addition to a close working relationship with the developers who build the customer solutions you own.
- Change management: support our customers through change and confidently engage with senior stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Drive customer satisfaction and maintain governance standards by applying established quality and testing protocols.
- AI Literacy & Innovation: champion an AI-first methodology throughout the project lifecycle, using AI-powered tools for requirements analysis, specification generation, code review, data mapping, testing automation, and documentation creation to continuously innovate how we deliver.
- Continuous Improvement: proactively drive innovation by recommending new tooling, automation, and best practices that keep our delivery methods ahead of the curve.
- Mentoring: support and coach junior members of the team.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in ERP systems: deep functional knowledge of working with ERP platforms (ideally Deltek products).
- 3-5 years experience in ERP Extensions and Integrations: proven track record in leading and delivering ERP extensions and integrations projects across a range of technical solutions.
- AI Literacy: proven proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) to drive innovation, efficiency, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, including confidently leading customer-facing sessions and presenting technical solutions to non-technical audiences at all levels, including senior stakeholders.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Requirements gathering and analysis skills across diverse business contexts.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Expertise: strong ability to diagnose complex business challenges, assess alternative solutions, and independently recommend the most effective course of action.
- Background in solution architecture and technical design with demonstrated track record in successful implementation of technical solutions.
- Specification writing skills: Demonstrated ability to create precise, comprehensive design specifications that enable customer approval and developer implementation without ambiguity.
- Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining client relationships.
- Cultural Awareness: Understanding of cultural differences and regional business practices.
- Innovation Mindset: proactively identify, pilot, and champion new tools, technologies, and approaches - including emerging AI capabilities - to enhance delivery speed, quality, and customer value.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in the following essential coding languages: SQL, Java, XML, JSON
- Good experience with integration development technologies, including RESTful APIs and web services.
- Architect solutions which incorporate a strong understanding of core development concepts, including SQL, Java XML, JSON, and RESTful APIs for integration and extension tasks.
- Provide expert hands-on troubleshooting support during development: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the essential coding languages.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Understanding of industry-specific business processes across multiple sectors.
- Working knowledge of middleware/iPaaS solutions (e.g., Workato, Airflow).
- Quality assurance and UAT expertise: Proven ability to design comprehensive test plans, execute functional/integration/performance testing, and validate solutions against business requirements.
- Basic knowledge of data modelling and transformation techniques.
- Understanding of change management principles and their application in ERP implementations.
- Functional knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or a comparable ERP System

Career Interests Consulting Compensation Info The U.S. salary range for this position is $72,000.00-$127,000.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
