Clinical Care Technician (CCT) - Intensive Care Unit At RWJBarnabas Health, Clinical Care Technicians become part of a purpose driven environment where teamwork, belonging, and clinical excellence shape meaningful patient experiences. As a Clinical Care Technician (CCT), you will be a vital part of our collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses in providing hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. You'll assist with daily needs such as vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while helping RNs monitor conditions and carry out care plans. Your attention, empathy, and teamwork help restore comfort and dignity for every patient you serve and make our mission to improve lives a reality each day. The Intensive Care Unit( ICU) is a 12-bed critical care unit that provides comprehensive care for hemodynamically unstable patietns. The unit delivers advance, evidence base therapies including continuos renal replacement therapy (CRRT), intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella management and targeted temperature management (TTM). The ICU is a closed unit and is staffed by a multidisciplinary team with specialized critical care expertise to provide continuous monitoring and rapid intervention, and high quality, patient centered care for patients with complex medical and surgical needs. To be considered for this CCT opportunity, you must have a High School Diploma / GED and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program is preferred or a CNA certificate.
