Delevan is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead production operations at our East Aurora, NY facility. In this role, you'll create a safe, engaged, and high-performing work environment while delivering exceptional quality, productivity, and on-time delivery for our customers.

This position offers the opportunity to make a visible impact by developing employees, driving continuous improvement, and partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop production associates to achieve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity objectives.
  • Drive daily management activities and monitor SQDIP performance.
  • Coordinate staffing and production schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to improve results.
  • Utilize structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methods to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Build a culture of accountability, engagement, safety, and continuous improvement through active floor presence and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and EHS requirements.
  • Administer employee coaching, performance management, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with union representatives and consistently administer the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications and Experience Levels

  • 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience supervising hourly employees in a production environment.
  • Strong coaching, employee development, and performance management skills.
  • Experience driving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity results.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Electronics manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems

Expected Base Salary Range: [$80,000 - $100,000]

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's basepaycompensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience,educationand internal peer compensationcomparisons among other potential factors.
