Shipping and Receiving Lead

• Associate degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• Relevant combination of education and professional experience will be considered.
• Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Great Plains experience preferred).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with MRP/MRO supply chain planning, procurement, demand forecasting, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping, receiving, and distribution processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and vendor management skills.

• Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, company vehicles, and material-handling equipment safely.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the workday.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to all workplace safety requirements.

• Lead and support all aspects of the supply chain, including purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, and domestic/international logistics.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and delivery schedules, and develop sourcing strategies to support business objectives.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, demand planning, purchase order management, expediting, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, packaging, and order fulfillment activities to ensure efficient material flow.
• Plan warehouse layouts and storage strategies to maximize space utilization and inventory protection.
• Receive, inspect, inventory, and distribute materials according to bills of materials and production requirements.
• Investigate quality issues with suppliers and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Support packaging design initiatives for new or custom products.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and operational goals while assisting in other areas as needed.
