Schedule:



  • 1st Shift - Monday - Thursday (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Fridays OT
  • 2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday (4:30 PM - 1:30 AM) + Fridays (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Job Duties

  • Set up, operate, and monitor annealing furnaces to heat-treat metal products according to production specifications.
  • Manage and maintain operation of up to four furnaces simultaneously, ensuring consistent output and quality.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently into furnaces.
  • Set and adjust furnace temperature, timing, and cycle controls based on documented procedures and requirements.
  • Follow established processes for the production and treatment of various metal alloys.
  • Inspect finished materials to verify conformance to required physical and mechanical properties.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of furnace equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and proactively support a culture of safety, including reporting incidents and near misses.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Demonstrate core values in all interactions and responsibilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.



Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
  • Prior experience operating annealing furnaces or similar heat-treatment equipment strongly preferred
  • Understanding of metal properties, heat-treating processes, and alloy handling is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to monitor and adjust equipment settings
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and production documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
