Do you have a legal background, know your way around complex vendor contracts, and enjoy using technology to make processes more efficient? MaineHealth is looking for a Contract Analyst - Legal Affairs, Supply Chain Specialist with experience supporting supply chain, procurement, and vendor contracting within a large, complex organization.

This role is a great fit for a paralegal, attorney, or legal professional who has moved into-or is interested in-contract operations. You'll work closely with contract owners, Supply Chain, Legal, and other business partners to review and interpret agreements, negotiate terms and conditions, identify potential risks, and move vendor contracts through the review and approval process to execution.

We're especially interested in candidates who understand how legal and contractual requirements intersect with the operational needs of a large enterprise and are comfortable managing a high volume of vendor agreements and multiple stakeholders. Experience using legal technology, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, and contract automation tools to streamline workflows, track agreements, and improve efficiency is a big plus!

Summary:

The Contract Analyst role is responsible for contract evaluation, organization and analysis. This individual works closely with the Contract Owner, Contract Specialist and other contracting parties to ensure compliance with contract management processes including valuation, interpretation of contract provisions, negotiation of terms and conditions and execution by appropriate signature authority.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  2. License/Certifications: ABA-approved paralegal certificate or other comparable legal experience preferred
  3. Experience: Three years of experience reviewing, negotiating, drafting and managing contracts preferred
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Microsoft Office

The pay range for this position is $77,147.20to $104,353.60per year.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
