  • Utilizes cutting-edge tools, including operator training simulators (OTS), virtual platforms, and scenario-based exercises, to replicate real-world grid events. Integrates emerging technologies such as DERMS/VPP systems and market systems into training modules to prepare operators for evolving grid complexities.
  • Engages with leadership, engineers, and operations teams to identify skill gaps and performance trends. Analyzes operational data and compliance requirements to define targeted learning objectives for system operators and reliability coordinators.
  • Designs and maintains assessment tools and documentation to meet NERC continuing education and certification standards. Monitors certification status for operators and ensures timely renewals through structured training programs.
  • Works closely with Engineering, Operations, and Market teams to incorporate new processes, technologies, and regulatory changes into training content. Serves as a liaison between internal departments and external entities to ensure training reflects current industry practices.
  • Reviews feedback, compliance audit results, and industry trends to refine training strategies. Implements process improvements and innovative solutions to maintain program relevance and effectiveness in a rapidly changing grid environment.
  • Acts as a technical resource for operators and training staff, offering guidance on complex operational scenarios, compliance requirements, and best practices. Supports integration and testing of systems related to market operations and reliability compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
