What this position entails

The Lead Sales Operations Specialist is a hands-on member of IntelliScript's Sales and Marketing team who will help ensure the sales organization has the processes, tools, data, and insights needed to operate effectively and support business growth. Working closely with Sales leadership, Account Executives, Client Relationship Management, Marketing, Finance, and other internal teams, this role will manage and improve day-to-day operations that accelerate revenue growth, drive efficient and effective go to market execution, and measurable client, partner, and prospect engagement.

The Lead Sales Operations Specialist will support and optimize sales and marketing processes, proposal and RFP activities, CRM and prospect data management, go to market reporting (marketing, sales, alliances, retention & growth), performance and pipeline analytics, and workflow management. This role will also identify opportunities to improve processes, implement and leverage technology, establish operational standards, and develop solutions that increase efficiency, productivity, and consistency across the go to market functions.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get things done. This role is for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, improving processes, building consensus across stakeholders, and turning information into actionable insights. The Lead Sales Operations Specialist will be expected to manage multiple priorities, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and independently take projects from concept through execution while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.

What you will be doing



  • Manage and optimize both day-to-day and long-range sales operations processes and strategy
  • Support proposal and RFP activities, including coordination, data gathering, and timelines
  • Maintain and improve CRM and prospect data
  • Build and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and performance analytics
  • Analyze go to market data and translate findings into actionable insights
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
  • Identify and implement automation and integration opportunities to reduce manual work and improve accuracy
  • Establish and maintain transparent sales operations standards, processes, and quality controls.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Client Relationship Management, and other teams on cross-functional initiatives
  • Lead projects from concept through execution and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
  • Support leadership with reporting, analysis, and insights to inform business decisions


What we need



  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • 7+ years of experience in sales operations, sales analytics, business operations, finance, or a related analytical field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience working with CRM systems with a focus on enterprise B2B SaaS; Salesforce experience; and adjacent integrations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information, preferably in regulated industries such as information subject to HIPAA, FCRA and other regulatory environments

Location

The expected application deadline for this job is January 31, 2027. This position is open to remote work anywhere in the US. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events.

The overall salary range for this role is $78,800 to $177,675.

For candidates residing in:



  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia:




    • $90,620 - $145,130 if overall experience is less than 10 years; and
    • $107,755 - $177,675 for experience greater than 10 years.




  • All other states:




    • $78,800 - $126,200 if overall experience is less than 10 years; and
    • $93,700 - $154,500 for experience greater than 10 years.




A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
