Job Description

The Center for Intelligent Infrastructure at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow in the area of secure firmware, hardware design, and real-time IoT systems. This role focuses on applications in structural safety monitoring, mine safety monitoring, and data-driven engineering.

The Postdoctoral Fellow will collaborate with research staff to develop advanced engineering systems that support infrastructure inspection, condition assessment, and emergency response. The successful candidate will work closely with full-time technical staff at the Center for Intelligent Infrastructure (CII) (https://cii.mst.edu/research/laboratories/virtual/), one of ten university research centers at Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in civil engineering or a closely related discipline by the start date of the appointment.

Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in civil engineering or science, mechanical engineering, computer science, engineering.

Anticipated Hiring Range

$52,000 annually
