This position is full-time, 36 hour per week (12) hour shifts 1900 to 0700 with Rotating Weekends and Holidays (Every 3rd)

This is a Registered Nurse 1 and 2 vacancy open to all RN candidates

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2years of experience!

    • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
    • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

    The Emergency Department offers:

    • A self-scheduling model
    • Every third vs. every other weekendoption
    • Shift differentials
    • Triage, Preceptorship, and Charge role training
    • Role autonomy with nurse order sets and close provider collaboration
    • TNCC and ENPC certification training
    • Clinical ladder advancement potential

    NURSE RESIDENCY PROGRAM(NRP):

    • New graduate RNs and RNs with less than 1 year of experience from date of licensure, accepting a position you are automatically enrolled in our yearlong nurse residency program.
    • The NRP provides guidance and support to newnurses starting their careers.
    • Meet monthly to help with the transition of becoming a professional RN for training, continued learning, groupexercisesand more.

    Summary (New Graduate RN):

    The MH Registered Nurse - Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
    MH RN I: This level represents the beginner in their clinical role. This care team member has less than 12 months experience and is primarily developing the required knowledge and skills to work within their setting. Level I must achieve all performance expectations, by completion of facility and unit orientation, and satisfactorily completing the introductory period.

    Summary (Experienced RN):

    The MH Registered Nurse - Acute Care role provides high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Collaborates, delegates, and communicates with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care. MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level includes automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - New Graduate RN

    *Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.

    *Licensure/Certification: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Other certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines.

    *Experience: New Grad or RN with less than 12 months experience.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - Experienced RN

    *Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.

    *Licensure/Certification: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Other certifications may be required specific to area of practice or in accordance with Department guidelines.

    *Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

    The pay range for this position is $35.61 per hour for New Grad RN's (less than 1 year of experience)

    The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour for Nurses with greater than 1 year of experience (based on experience).

    Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
