What You'll Experience * Real-world projects that make an impact * Exposure to innovative practices * Opportunities to build skills and professional connections About the Position The Software and Performance Products team in Flight Sciences provides a focal point for the software verification and validation (V&V) activities needed for certification and support of the Gulfstream aircraft along with the software centered development projects within Flight Sciences. This opportunity is within a team of engineers working on developing software for complex performance calculations and verifying control law software that will be directly used by Gulfstream customers. Projects you may work on OR Skills you may gain Model Based Development Aerospace Software Certification Software Automation and Tooling Support resource planning and allocation using MS Project and/or other tools. Perform data analysis to support decision-making and project planning. Desired Skills Familiarity/experience with: Matlab Simulink Programming and/or scripting Hobbies/Interests: Pilot's license Classes taken/planned Control Theory Flight Dynamics Flight Controls Aircraft Performance Flight Planning Education and Other Requirements Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following disciplines or a related field: Aerospace engineering Software engineering Systems engineering Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume. Rotation Requirements: Juniors - 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students - 1 rotation. Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14-16 weeks (spring and fall). Must be onsite; this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
