Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM | 3:00 PM-12:15 AM

Seeking experienced Press Set-Up Technicians to support injection molding production operations. This hands-on manufacturing role is responsible for mold changes, machine set-up, start-ups, process troubleshooting, and ensuring production runs meet quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have injection molding experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.

Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.



Experience Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of mold setting experience in injection molding or a similar manufacturing environment
  • Approximately 2 years of experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines preferred
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with production teams and supervisors
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed


Job Duties


  • Set up injection molding machines for production runs
  • Install, remove, and change molds safely and efficiently
  • Perform mold start-ups and cycle molds into production
  • Complete set-up documentation and required checklists
  • Troubleshoot injection molding processes and machine issues
  • Adjust machine parameters to maintain product quality and production efficiency
  • Monitor production to ensure compliance with customer specifications and work orders
  • Verify proper materials and regrind ratios are used during production
  • Minimize downtime by identifying and correcting process-related issues
  • Assist with machine maintenance and equipment upkeep as needed



Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Press Set-Up Technician.



Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Safely operate forklifts, die carts, and manufacturing equipment
