Seeking experienced Press Set-Up Technicians to support injection molding production operations. This hands-on manufacturing role is responsible for mold changes, machine set-up, start-ups, process troubleshooting, and ensuring production runs meet quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have injection molding experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial. Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of mold setting experience in injection molding or a similar manufacturing environment Approximately 2 years of experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines preferred Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation Basic math skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively with production teams and supervisors Willingness to work overtime as needed Job Duties Set up injection molding machines for production runs Install, remove, and change molds safely and efficiently Perform mold start-ups and cycle molds into production Complete set-up documentation and required checklists Troubleshoot injection molding processes and machine issues Adjust machine parameters to maintain product quality and production efficiency Monitor production to ensure compliance with customer specifications and work orders Verify proper materials and regrind ratios are used during production Minimize downtime by identifying and correcting process-related issues Assist with machine maintenance and equipment upkeep as needed Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Press Set-Up Technician. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 80 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
