Aquent is partnering with a major global consumer brand, renowned for its innovative products and market leadership, to find a dynamic leader for a critical role within their Global Sales organization. This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact position, ensuring the continued momentum and success of an established, high-visibility AI program that directly influences sales strategies and operations. You will be the central force, driving the agenda, aligning key stakeholders, and translating cutting-edge AI advancements into tangible business value for a world-class brand.

About the Company

Join a globally recognized leader in the consumer industry, celebrated for its innovative products and market-defining strategies. This organization is at the forefront of leveraging technology to enhance its operations and maintain its competitive edge. You will be part of a team that directly contributes to shaping the future of sales through cutting-edge AI initiatives, making a tangible impact on global business strategies and operational excellence.

About the Role

This pivotal role offers you the chance to be at the intersection of business strategy and emerging technology, driving innovation within a high-impact sales organization. As a seasoned program manager, you will be instrumental in guiding an internal AI lab, ensuring its established strategy continues to evolve and deliver transformative results. This isn't just about executing tasks; it's about holding the center of a fast-moving initiative, shaping its agenda, and keeping senior leadership informed and aligned. Your passion for AI and ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes will directly contribute to enhancing sales capabilities and driving innovation, ensuring the company remains a leader in its field.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the internal AI lab supporting the sales organization, including coordination, prioritization, and delivery of active workstreams.
  • Serve as the critical link, fostering collaboration and alignment across diverse teams such as Global Technology, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain, Brand, Legal, AI Governance, and Enterprise AI.
  • Engage daily with VP and executive-level stakeholders, expertly translating complex technical AI work into clear business impact and articulating business needs into actionable program direction.
  • Champion the adoption of AI tools throughout the sales organization by directly partnering with end-users, ensuring seamless integration and value realization.
  • Proactively assess and respond to the evolving relationship between AI capabilities and overarching business strategy, adjusting program priorities as needed to maintain relevance and impact.
  • Ensure continuous progress and stability for the program, preventing any loss of momentum.

What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10+ years of robust program or project management experience, including a proven track record in launching or operating new programs or internal capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with and influence VP and executive-level stakeholders on a daily basis.
  • A working understanding of AI and its impact on business operations, with sufficient fluency to engage credibly with technical teams and translate concepts for business partners.
  • Comfort and effectiveness operating in ambiguous environments without a pre-defined playbook, taking initiative to set direction.
  • Extensive experience driving cross-functional alignment within a large, matrixed organization.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor or Copilot.
  • Experience gained within a large global consumer, retail, or lifestyle brand environment.
  • A track record of successfully driving the adoption of AI or other new technologies across non-technical teams.

A technical background is not a prerequisite for this role. We are specifically seeking someone who is enthusiastic about AI tools, capable of operating them independently, and passionate about their application, rather than someone who builds them.

Who You Are

  • Team player: This role requires extensive collaboration across many functions, making strong relationships paramount.
  • High energy and genuinely passionate about AI: Your enthusiasm for the space will be visible and contagious, inspiring others.
  • Self-starter who drives the agenda: You are proactive in setting direction and defining tasks, rather than waiting for instructions.
