What to Expect
Tesla Insurance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Claims Trainer to join our team to lead trainings for our Bodily Injury teams. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for claims adjusters and support staff across several teams. The Claims Trainer ensures that team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to handle insurance claims efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with our commitment to exceptional customer experience and innovation. As a key point of contact for new hires and developing staff, this position helps set professional standards and reinforce the Tesla Insurance brand.

What You'll Do
  • Design and deliver engaging training for new hires and ongoing professional development for claims staff
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to strengthen claims handling, decision-making, and customer interaction skills
  • Educate staff on Tesla Insurance claims processes, systems, documentation standards, and best practices
  • Ensure training content and delivery reinforce compliance with applicable insurance regulations and company standards
  • Assess trainee progress through quizzes, role-play scenarios, and practical evaluations to confirm readiness for independent work
  • Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and build targeted training solutions that improve quality and consistency
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and internal process updates to keep training materials accurate and relevant

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent claims training experience
  • Proven experience in insurance claims handling and/or claims training roles
  • Strong understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements
  • Working knowledge of claims systems, workflows, and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for delivering clear, engaging training
  • Ability to provide constructive coaching and feedback to diverse team members
  • Commitment to professionalism and representing the Tesla brand positively
