What to Expect
Consider beforesubmittingan application: This position is expected to start January 2027 and continue through the entire Winter/Spring term (i.e through April/May 2026) or into Summer 2027 ifavailable. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks,full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site,for most internships. International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your schoolbeforeapplying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. The Internship Recruiting Team is driven by the passion to recognize and develop emerging talent. The Field Quality team's mission is to improve customer experience of Tesla products by reducing field issues.The role is responsible for products such as Powerwall, Megapack and Supercharger and works cross functionally with other engineering and service teams. We are seeking a multi-faceted engineer who will be responsible for all aspects of identifying, analyzing, root causing, implementing countermeasures, and reporting on issues affecting products. To be effective, the Field Quality engineer will need to be intimately familiar with the detailed behavior of our Energy Products and the tools and equipment used in their design and manufacture. They will work with other engineering teams to quickly mitigate and implement countermeasures of field issues to improve quality, reliability, and durability of the products.
