MTSI is currently seeking to hire an Industrial Security Administrator to join our security team in Huntsville, Alabama.
Position Overview
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a motivated, detailoriented Industrial Security Administrator to support our expanding security program. In this role, you will perform a broad range of Industrial Security responsibilities including personnel security, information security, physical security, visitor control, classified material management, contract security support, foreign travel tracking, security education and training, selfinspections, and compliance activities under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive security professional who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is committed to maintaining strict compliance with all regulatory and company security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and track personnel security clearance actions including initial requests, upgrades, transfers, continuous vetting, and debriefings.
  • Conduct and document indoctrinations, briefings, debriefings, and access changes.
  • Support onboarding, transfers, status changes, and departurerelated security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate personnel security records and update systems such as DISS, NBIS, and SIMS.
  • Monitor clearance actions and follow up on outstanding requirements.
  • Process incoming and outgoing visit requests.
  • Coordinate classified meetings, conferences, and other activities.
  • Manage classified material receipt, storage, transmission, accountability, and destruction.
  • Conduct periodic inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain accountability logs and required classifiedmaterial documentation.
  • Assist with combinations, locks, and alarms.
  • Participate in selfinspections, compliance reviews, and customer security assessments.
  • Support security audits, data calls, performance metrics, and required reporting.
  • Assist in developing and delivering security education, training, and awareness materials.
  • Support security plans, SOPs, emergency procedures, and programspecific documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma and 5-7 years of relevant security experience required.
  • Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), industrial security protocols, and government contract security requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe, and familiarity with DISS, NBIS/eAPP, SWFT, NISS, ACCS, and SIMS.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced team environment.
Required Clearance:
Active Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
