Human Resources Administrative Support - TEMPORARY Independence Physician Management (IPM) | A Subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS)**

Independence Physician Management (IPM), is seeking a Human Resources Administrative Suppport professional for a temporary assignment up to 12 weeks, supporting the HR team at the IPM Division office. About IPM

Founded in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS, IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics aligned with UHS acute care facilities. We also provide select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Role Summary

The Human Resources Administrative Support position provides administrative support to the HR team, and IPM markets where needed.

  • Responsible for front office operations, process control, file maintenance, onboarding support, reporting, data entry, and a broad range of HR-related administrative functions.
  • Serves as a first point of contact and helps ensure that HR processes are handled accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Completes personnel actions and maintenance, serving as a liaison between HR Records, Recruiting, and Compensation to promote smooth employee lifecycle transactions.
  • Assist with coordinating the new hire onboarding, scheduling and facilitating orientation, completing all required I-9 verification and documentation.
  • Supports with Leaves of Absence administration for IPM Shared Services employees, and supporting FMLA, MLOA, return-to-work, and other leave-related issues.
  • Assists employees and managers with routine HR matters, including policy guidance, performance management system questions, and benefits-related support.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Education

A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution is required.

Experience
  • One to three years of experience in the Human Resources field, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Prior experience working with HRIS systems such as Lawson or Workday is desired, along with exposure to ATS platforms, timekeeping and scheduling systems, and learning management systems.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, compliance, HR records, payroll-related processes, or employee service functions will be especially valuable in this role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and the ability to apply that knowledge in a confidential, professional, and service-oriented setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to resolve routine employee concerns with tact and professionalism.
  • Attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to manage special projects within deadlines, working independently when needed, and contributing effectively to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
