Construction Site Superintendent Location: York, SC Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week; overtime required as needed Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour Job Summary The Construction Site Superintendent oversees daily field operations for commercial low-voltage construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements. This role coordinates site activities, supports field teams, monitors project progress, and works closely with project management to maintain schedules and quality standards. The Superintendent should have a strong commercial construction and low-voltage background and be comfortable providing hands-on leadership in an active jobsite environment. Occasional travel to other project sites may be required for training before transitioning to primarily local work. Job Responsibilities Oversee daily construction site operations and field activities. Coordinate low-voltage installation activities to support project schedules and requirements. Supervise and provide direction to field personnel and subcontractors as applicable. Monitor project progress, workmanship, productivity, and adherence to established timelines. Communicate project status, site needs, and potential issues to project management. Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable safety procedures and quality standards. Coordinate materials, equipment, workforce needs, and site logistics. Identify and help resolve field issues that could affect project completion. Maintain an organized, safe, and productive jobsite. Support overtime requirements when necessary to meet project deadlines. Job Requirements Previous experience in commercial construction, preferably in a Superintendent or construction field leadership role. Experience working with low-voltage systems or low-voltage construction projects. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and jobsite operations. Ability to supervise and coordinate field teams and project activities. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with project managers, department leadership, subcontractors, and field personnel. Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines in an active construction environment. Ability to work overtime as project needs require. Ability and willingness to travel to other project sites for training when required. Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.) This is a direct placement opportunity. Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required depending on project needs. Candidates must be open to traveling to other project sites for training as needed. Once the assigned project is underway, work is expected to be primarily local.
