About the role: The L'Oreal Paris US Cosmetics Brand Engagement Team is seeking an operational, creative, and consumer-centric marketer to lead the execution and day-to-day management of brand engagement activations for our lip and eye categories. In this role, you will bring business-driving strategies to life through flawless 360-degree execution across Paid Social, Advocacy & Influencer (A&I), Social Media, PR, and Events. You will connect brand engagement verticals to the consumer journey to meet key KPIs, recruiting new audiences while maximizing our existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Partner with US Marketing, DMI, and Brand Engagement to shape the long-term social vision for L'Oreal Paris in alignment with divisional business objectives.
  • Develop breakthrough strategies to compete and win in the dynamic beauty social landscape.
  • Identify, test, and scale innovative social opportunities and first-to-market programs (e.g., TikTok Shop, L'Orealistar).
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Media, PR, Digital Marketing, and Customer Marketing.

Advocacy & Influencer (A&I):

  • Advocacy & Influencer (A&I)Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns for the lip and eye categories-including casting, contract negotiation, content review, budget management, and creator boosting.
  • Partner with external influencer agencies to execute impactful activations.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of social trends to deploy top-tier creators timely and authentically.
  • Partner with the BAL team and Shopper Marketing experts to craft socially-driven, retailer-specific programs that drive awareness and sales conversion.

Content & Creative Production:

  • Manage relationships with post-production partners to edit, iterate, and optimize creative assets for paid media.
  • Storyboard and propose cut-downs of influencer content for Meta, YouTube programmatic, and emerging placements.
  • Own recommendations for paid content strategy (boosting, content swaps, cut-downs) and ensure alignment with marketing priorities.
  • Oversee asset tracking documentation and collaborate on content production shoots as needed.

Paid Media & Analytics:

  • Traffic influencer and branded assets for paid media campaigns.
  • Analyze paid media reporting to deliver actionable content optimization recommendations.

Define social KPIs for influencer campaigns, track performance through execution, and author detailed campaign recaps and monthly Share of Voice (SOI) diagnoses.

Earned Media, PR & Owned Social:

  • Execute event and seeding strategies for the lip category in partnership with production agencies and PR teams to build brand love and advocacy.
  • Own the organic social strategy for the lip and eye categories, collaborating with cross-category teams and our social agency to manage the editorial calendar and approve assets.
  • Ensure key product priorities are integrated into PR pitching and social calendars.

Budget Management:

  • Oversee the social budget for assigned campaigns, ensuring optimal spend, efficiency, and ROI.

What You Will Bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Social Media, Influencer Relations, and Paid Media for a consumer brand (in-house or agency), ideally within the beauty or lifestyle space.
  • Deep expertise in the digital and social media landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic content recommendations.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and matrix-management skills (Brand Engagement, CDMO, Global DMI).
  • Resourcefulness, creative out-of-the-box thinking, and the ability to craft compelling copy in the L'Oreal Paris voice.
  • Experience in photography, editing, or lightweight in-house content creation is a strong plus.
