We are seeking a dynamic and meticulously organized professional to join our client's team in a pivotal role focused on employee health and wellbeing. In this impactful position, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day management and continuous enhancement of a wide array of benefit plans and wellness initiatives. Your expertise will directly ensure that employees have access to the crucial resources they need to thrive, profoundly shaping their overall experience and security within the organization.

You will become a central figure in the administration of comprehensive health and welfare plans, spanning from medical and dental coverage to innovative wellness programs and essential leave policies. Your unique expertise will serve as the crucial link between employees, external vendors, and carriers, guaranteeing precision and efficiency in benefit delivery. You will actively contribute to critical compliance efforts and champion initiatives that cultivate a vibrant culture of health throughout the organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a primary point of contact, providing indispensable support and expert guidance to both employees and HR colleagues alike.

Your Impact & Responsibilities



  • Collaborate effectively with insurance carriers to ensure the seamless operation of health and welfare programs.
  • Review and expertly respond to routine HR inquiries and cases within Workday, adhering to established procedures, and skillfully triage more complex issues for swift resolution.
  • Provide crucial support for the annual employee enrollment process, including meticulous testing, thorough quality checks, and precise proofreading.
  • Assist with essential activities related to government forms and filings, such as Form 5500 and PCORI, and support critical compliance requirements like COBRA and ACA reporting.
  • Review and maintain employee benefits communications materials, including updating the internal website to ensure information remains current, accurate, and easily accessible.
  • Serve as a reliable and knowledgeable point of contact for Human Resources colleagues regarding all benefit-related inquiries.
  • Process expense reports with precision, accurately calculate fees and premiums, and prepare invoice payments for various benefit plans.
  • Compile essential census and benefits reports for both internal stakeholders and external business partners.
  • Assist in coordinating engaging wellness and total rewards activities and programs, such as blood drives, biometric screenings, and flu shot clinics, enhancing employee well-being.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for death claims, compassionately guiding beneficiaries through the claims process and collaborating with the team on retirement-related aspects.
  • Provide dedicated support for retirement operations as needed, contributing to the broader scope of employee financial well-being.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with a strong customer service orientation.
  • A client-centric approach, consistently seeking and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • The ability to excel both independently and as a collaborative, supportive team member.
