We are seeking an Operations Program Manager to lead high-impact, cross-functional improvement initiatives across patient care and operational environments. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, driving meaningful organizational change and directly impacting the quality and efficiency of healthcare services. You will be instrumental in shaping strategic programs, optimizing workflows, and implementing best practices that elevate patient care and operational performance. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic program leadership for assigned functional and cross-functional continuous improvement efforts across departments.
- Manage, assess, and document program improvement scope, goals, and outcomes using standard A3 templates.
- Collaborate with management, physician groups, and key stakeholders to define project scopes, align deliverables with business objectives, and understand departmental workflows.
- Implement quality control measures and ensure participant and project compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct clinical rounds in patient care areas to consult, coach staff, promote safety, and coordinate program strategy implementations.
- Track equipment technology advancements, evaluate outcomes, recommend replacements/additions, and coordinate equipment trials.
- Design, coordinate, and participate in staff competency assessments and training programs, including unit programs, algorithms, and role definitions.
- Maintain quarterly dashboards for process and outcome metrics, tracking program implementation, injury trends, and injury expense reductions.
- Partner with Operations Managers to build internal leadership capacity, identify departmental needs, and guide teams through change cycles.
- Oversee interdisciplinary communication strategies, publicity materials, paper forms, and patient handouts in partnership with vendors and internal champions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy Administration, or a directly related field.
- Strong background in process improvement, leadership, change management, and facilitator techniques.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Just-In-Time (JIT), and/or Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Project, and Outlook).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to instruct, persuade, negotiate, consult, and resolve conflicts at all organizational levels.
- Proven track record of managing multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to work on a hybrid schedule (onsite 2 days per week at designated facilities).
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
