If you also see yourself as a self-starter who thrives by gaining process and project autonomy through experience, we have a position for you!The Office for Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) seeks an energetic, detail-conscious individual who is interested in honing event-related organizational skills to join the Conference Services area of our team. The position of Coordinator, Special Events, provides administrative and logistical support to CPL's two Events Planners, as well as assistance with general office operations. This position is the initial contact that most conference registrants, exhibitors, sponsors, and presenters encounter. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and possesses exceptional customer service skills. We're looking for a problem-solver with the ability to manage, prioritize, and complete multiple simultaneous projects, be self-motivated, and adapt in a team-oriented environment. Ability to remain organized and focused while successfully working on multiple competing tasks in a busy office setting
Additional Requirements Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, attendance to support specific events WILL require working evenings and weekends as needed.
