Eastman Kodak Company is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of its workforce, and we are seeking a Nurse Case Manager/RN toguide employees through the medical leave process, promote full recovery, and facilitate a smooth return to work. This role also partners closely with employees managing chronic health conditions to help them maintain their health and perform their jobs without restrictions.

Thisisahybridrolethatwillrequire3daysaweekonsiteinRochester,NewYorkafteratrainingperiod.

Responsibilities:

*DeliverexcellentcustomerservicetoKodakemployeeswhileadvocatingfortheirfullrecoveryandtimelyreturntowork.

*Assistinfacilitatingappropriateandtimelymedicalcarewiththegoalofreturningtheemployeetotheirpre-injuryorillnessstate.

*Providesupporttoemployeesduringabsences,whileemphasizingKodak'scommitmenttokeepingitsemployeeshealthyandactive.

*Workwithsupervisorstoassesstheirabilitytoaccommodateemployeerestrictions.

*Ongoingmedicalmanagementofwork-relatedinjuryandnon-work-relatedmedicalabsencesanddocumentationofcaseupdates,diagnoses,prognosis,andprojectedreturntoworkgoalsintheelectronicmedicalrecord.

*Creatinganemployeecenteredcareplanforabsencesanddocumentingthoroughassessments,nursingdiagnosis,planandevaluationofcareplangoalsandinterventions.

*Referralstocommunityagenciesandcompanybenefitsforfacilitatingemployeerecovery

*ReceiptandreviewofdocumentationtosupportemployeeabsencesandensurecompliancewithKodak'spoliciesandstateandfederalregulations.

*Ongoingandregularcommunicationwithemployees,medicalproviders,supervisors,HumanResources,andothermembersoftheoccupationalhealthteamtoensurethatallpartiesarealignedandinformed.

*Workcloselywiththeworkers'compensationthirdpartyadministratortoensureswifttreatmentauthorizationsandappropriatecare.

*Collaboratewiththeworkers'compensationthirdpartyadministratortodeterminewhenanindependentmedicalexamorfunctionalcapacityassessmentisappropriate.

*Participationinwebinars,seminars,etc.tokeepabreastofnewOSHAregulationsandotherstateorfederallawsimpactingKodak'soccupationalhealthprogramandemployeeabsences.

*Performalljobfunctionsinaccordancewithlocal,state,andfederallawsaswellasKodak'spolicies.Complywithnationalcasemanagementstandardsandnursingcodeofconduct.

*Evaluationofjobfunctionstoassessergonomicimprovementsandpreventativeprograms.

*Testimonyintheeventoflegalproceedingsarisingfromanemployeeabsenceorinjury,asneeded.

*ParticipationinChallengingCasemeetingswiththeKodakMedicalandHRteamstodiscusscomplicatedcasesandensurealignmentwhendevelopingaresolutionplan.

*ParticipationinMorningMarketcallspertainingtoworkplaceinjuries,asneeded.

*AssistwithotherKodak-sponsoredhealthandwellnessactivitiessuchaswellnessfairsandflushotclinics.

SkillsandQualifications:

*Bachelor'sdegreeinNursingwithanactiveRegisteredNurseLicenseinNY

*5+yearsofclinicalnursingexperience

*2+yearsofexperienceintelephonicnursecasemanagementexperience,withoccupationalhealthcasemanagementpreferred

*Workingknowledgeofgeneralworkers'compensation,disability,FMLA,andADAlaws

*Strongcustomerserviceandinterpersonalskillsfordealingwithdifferenttypesofinternalandexternalclientsandconflictresolution

*Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills

*Excellentcriticalthinkingandproblem-solvingskills

*FluencyinoperatingMicrosoftOfficesuiteprograms

*Timemanagementandmultitaskingskillstobalanceoversightofmultipleprojectsanduniquesituationsarisingunexpectedly

*Advancedorganizationalskillsandattentiontodetail

PhysicalRequirements:

*AbilitytoreporttoRochester,NYoffice5days/weekduringtrainingandthen3daysperweekuponcompletionoftraining

*Liftingupto10lbs.occasionally

*Thisisprimarilyasedentaryrole,howevertherearetimeswhenclimbingupto2flightsofstairs,carryingitems,andwalkingisrequiredduringKodak-sponsoredactivities

*Abilitytousekeyboard,phone,andcomputerforupto8hoursperday
