About the Role

Wis-Pak is seeking a reliable and adaptable Production Floater to support various areas of our production line operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is a team player, and can quickly adapt to different production assignments as business needs change.

As a Production Floater, you will rotate between multiple positions throughout the production process, helping maintain efficiency, product quality, safety standards, and line performance.

What You'll Do

Cover and support various positions across the production line as needed.
Follow all safety, quality, food safety, GMP, and company procedures.
Assist with production operations to ensure efficient line performance.
Monitor products and packaging to verify accurate and legible product coding.
Perform package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
Conduct basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
Escalate mechanical issues through established procedures when necessary.
Work closely with maintenance personnel to resolve equipment concerns.
Complete required production, quality, and packaging documentation.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, maintenance personnel, and team members.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards throughout the facility.
Notify leadership of production, quality, or food safety concerns immediately.
Support continuous production flow by communicating with upstream and downstream operators.

You're a reliable, detail-oriented team player who's ready to roll up your sleeves and contribute to a high-performing operation.

Ability to learn and perform multiple production line positions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Basic math and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks preferred.
Willingness to work overtime during peak production periods.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
