Responsibilities

The Senior Operations Research Analyst leads advanced analytical efforts supporting Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) modernization, applying seniorlevel expertise in ModelBased Systems Engineering (MBSE) and missionlevel assessment to shape and evaluate complex systemofsystems architectures. In this role, the analyst directs the development, refinement, and integration of MBSE models across multiple toolsets-including ArcherEye, Veracity, Cameo, MagicDraw, and comparable systems-ensuring that model architectures, workflows, and analytical methods meet high standards of fidelity, traceability, and mission relevance.

The analyst oversees MBSEdriven modeling, simulation, and analytical workflows by defining use cases, selecting appropriate methodologies, validating model outputs, and ensuring rigorous evaluation of dependencies, risks, and missionlevel impacts. The role includes leading requirements reviews, structured datacollection processes, and crossfunctional technical exchanges to support comprehensive NC3 systemofsystems analysis.

As a senior contributor, the analyst synthesizes modeling results and operational insights into highquality technical reports, engineering documentation, missionassurance assessments, and seniorleader briefings for United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), other Combatant Commands, and Department of War stakeholders. The analyst represents MBSE and operations research activities in stakeholder meetings, providing authoritative expertise and guiding analytical priorities across modernization efforts. Additionally, the senior analyst mentors junior team members, contributes to the advancement of USSTRATCOM's MBSE and digitalengineering capabilities, and supports continuous improvement of modeling standards, analytical best practices, and toolintegration approaches.
