Non-CDL Delivery Driver / Service Technician- Direct Hire
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift | Monday-Friday
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour (Depending On Experience)
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Technical certifications or vocational training in Electrical Technology or a related field are a plus.
- Relevant hands-on experience, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn are highly valued.
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, service technician, installer, field technician, or similar role preferred.
- Experience with white-glove delivery service is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, dimming controls, residential construction, or product installation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Professional appearance and ability to work respectfully in customer homes and businesses.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to lift, carry, move, and install lighting fixtures, window shade products, tools, and materials.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform hands-on installation work throughout the day.
- Ability to safely load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Comfortable working in residential and commercial environments.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physical labor while protecting customer property and maintaining safety standards.
Job Duties
- Operate a non-CDL Sprinter-style delivery van to customer homes, businesses, and job sites.
- Deliver, assemble, install, and test luxury lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, automated shading systems, and related products.
- Assist lead installers with motorized shade and lighting control system installations.
- Troubleshoot product issues and perform minor repairs, adjustments, and electrical component replacements.
- Provide exceptional white-glove customer service during deliveries, installations, and service calls.
- Train customers on product operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate service records, inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Safely use hand and power tools to complete installations and repairs.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean vehicle, professional appearance, and positive customer experience.
