Position Title: General Labor
Wage: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Build products that make a difference while working on a steady first-shift schedule. This hands-on manufacturing role offers variety, teamwork, and opportunities to develop valuable assembly, packaging, and production skills in a clean, safety-focused environment. General Labor Responsibilities: - Assemble, ship, and/or package product to daily demand requirements - Maintain accurate and legible records - Follow safety requirements and standards - Perform in-process inspections of products Requirements for General Labor: - Skill and ability to pay attention to detail with a focus on quality - Ability to use mechanical tools such as power hand tools and wrenches - Possess effective written and oral communication skills - Highly adaptable and responsive to changing business needs - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of quality processes including measurements, documentation, and final inspection - Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment - Ability to observe and identify details - Ability to work extended hours as scheduled, including weekends - Experience and proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment - Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred - Experience working with hand tools and measuring tools is a plus - Experience with fabrication, assembly, shipping, and packaging of products preferred - Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions preferred QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
