Overview
Prior Authorization Specialist/Insurance Reviewer - Clinical In this role, you will help secure insurance authorizations for patient treatments, testing, and surgical procedures. By working closely with insurance companies and our care teams, you will help ensure patients can move forward with their recommended care without unnecessary delays. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can successfully manage changing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. The general pay scale for this position at WVCI is $26.00-$29.80. WORK ENVIORNMENT: The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.
