River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented File Clerk for the Utilization Management department. The UM File Clerk is responsible for handling the administrative and clerical aspects of the utilization review processes, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare and regulatory standards. This includes sorting, filing, faxing, maintaining records, analyzing data, and coordinating with facility staff to ensure postive outcomes for the department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Experience: One (1) year of related experience, required. Prefer some work-related experience in utilization management.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred (Nursing, Counseling, Psychology or Social Work).
• Working Knowledge: Knowledgable in behavioral health, managed care is preferred. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Also must have document management skills and data entry skills. Detailed, organized individual that can work independently. Must have computer skills.
