Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

The Quality Assurance/Compliance Officer ensures the organization adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the delivery of behavioral health services. This involves developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, policies, and procedures, and conducting audits, investigations, and training to maintain compliance and mitigate risks. This position is also responsible for the Patient Advocacy role, which empowers our patients by providing information, support, and advocacy to ensure they receive appropriate and timely care. This includes the handling of all complaints and grievances and resolving/reporting as necessary.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: A Bachelor's Degree in a related mental health field is required. A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in information privacy laws, access, release of information, and release control technologies is required.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) is required. Primary Source Verification shall be required through International Association of Privacy Professionals
