While most of the hotel is winding down for the night, something important is happening behind the scenes.

The day's business is being reviewed. Revenue is being balanced. Reports are being prepared. Systems are being reset. Details are being checked.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Night Auditor who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and getting the details right.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable with numbers and technology, and understands that the accuracy of tonight's work sets the hotel up for tomorrow's success.

What You'll Do

  • Audit daily restaurant revenue by reviewing Point of Sale tapes and journals.
  • Break down revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
  • Run audit reports and journals from the Front Office system, Point of Sale system, and computer.
  • Review information carefully and identify discrepancies or issues.
  • Make necessary corrections and adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot and address computer or system problems that occur during the shift.
  • Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the Front Office system.
  • Generate daily reports, including the Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
  • Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly.
  • Maintain organized files and supporting documentation.
  • Reset systems for the next day's operations.
  • Communicate relevant issues or concerns to the appropriate leadership.
  • Maintain a professional and guest-focused presence throughout the shift.
  • Support guests and associates with questions or concerns when needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

The role is centered on accurate auditing, financial balancing, reporting, system troubleshooting, recordkeeping, and preparing hotel systems for the next day's operations. Night Auditor
