Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Port of Miami

Optum Onsites delivers employer-based primary care that focuses on whole-person health, not occupational health services. This is a full-time position in Port of Miami treating patients ages 2 years and up both in-person and via telehealth.

Deliver high quality Primary Care including:

• Wellness and Preventative Physical Exams
• Acute care of minor illness and injuries
• Chronic Disease Management and Longitudinal care
• Minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting, incision/drainage, etc.)
• Lifestyle and well-being counseling
• Medical management of behavioral health conditions
• Telemedicine services
• Provide clinical leadership of worksite staff
• Work closely with a certified medical assistant

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Florida
• Current DEA registration and CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• 2+ years of clinical experience as a FNP or PA in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, ambulatory, emergency and/or urgent care setting(s)
• Experience seeing patients of all ages, including children and adolescents

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a FNP or PA
• Primary care or urgent care experience
• Experience treating patients ages 2 years and up
